Shrink into Summer Weigh In-EEK!

Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans

Alright, I knew this was going to be a bad week. Could be worse but, of course, could have been better.

The Numbers:
UP 3.1#

Wow, that was hard to type for the world to see. Back on track though. I won't hit my 30 by 30 goal unless I get some sort of stomach bug in the next 2 days. ;) I am going to see where I am on Saturday the 9th and adjust the due date accordingly. Most likely it will be May 27th which is the day we leave for our family vacation.

Onward and upward (or should I say downward?)

Downward, definitely downward!! Depending on how and when you gained that three points, you could actually lose it again this week and then you'd at least be back to where you were last week. Best wishes for a skinnier week!!

It happens Kate. Sometimes, it is worth it to put on a few pounds and just enjoy life. It is awesome that you are moving forward now though! That is what matters!

good luck. the most encouraging thing about gaining weight is if you know why - and get on track to fix it. you can do it!!

And I bet you know exactly what you have to do to get yourself back in gear...

I always hate to see "UP #s" when I step on the scales. No worries, you'll get back on track and see "DOWN #s" soon!

Good luck!

I'm responding to your comment on the "Becoming a Woman of Moderation" blog...

I highly recommend the study, as long as you've got someone to work through it with. PREFERABLY a "real life" friend, whom you can actually get together with, compare notes, and even share a tomato juice with! (or whatever liquids you allow yourselves on "liquid" days!)

It has definitely openend my eyes to the deeper issues behind weight troubles and it's amazing how many OTHER areas I'm striving now to change, not just how I view food.

It's a lot of work though! There's a lesson/homework each day and often it takes me a good hour or more to complete, so you definitely need to be able to commit a large chunk of time to it. I believe it's worth it, but it is something to consider.

In any case, I'd definitely encourage you to do it! (and I'd love your email address so I could respond more privately!!)
